WTF??? WOMAN FINDS ‘SCARY HAIRY’ RITZ CRACKERS!!!

By Heather L. Lawton

They’ve approved the food in our grocery stores and drugstores, some with colorful wrappings to attract your children; others exist to sabotage your diets. They want consumers to rely only on their advice, warning you to stay away from natural herbs; instead, highlighting the safety of their prescription drugs. They published a code for the food that created the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s’ explosion of double-stacked  burgers, cheese-stuffed crust pizzas, and the pop with the FD&C numbered colors: Blue no. 1, Yellow no. 5, and Red no. 40. They bombard your favorite programming with their approved medications. Every month, new, exotic names pop up, promising to deliver a healthier and happier you. But the Food and Drug Administration(FDA) can’t seem to perfect food safety.

The company that manufactures one of your favorite cracker brands may have some explaining to do after a woman takes to social media about what she found in the box.

BroBible reports that a woman in Ohio opened a box of Nabisco Ritz Crackers and discovered an unusual substance. According to TikToker Chenelle, whose handle is @somer_rain, she began breaking the crackers apart and saw stringy, gray fibers inside. Other social media viewers labeled the find as Rope Spoilage.

Bakerpedia defines the “hairy” fibers as a quality defect driven by microbes. The site explicitly identifies it as spore-forming bacilli, primarily Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis. The bacteria can survive 400-degree heat and remain dormant in “the crumb,” according to the website. What are we eating?

Will the FDA ever be able to get it together?
