Comedian and radio host Rickey Smiley recently expressed deep concern for black women on his social media platform, passionately cautioning the arguably most targeted gender about their movement in a society riddled with violence and racism, leaving an entire topic zip-locked—the black man’s hatred for black women.

While black people are only 13% of the US population, according to the Black and Missing Foundation, tens of thousands of black women and girls are reported missing annually, with their cases remaining open significantly longer and receiving less media attention [than other groups].

But is Smiley’s concern arriving too late? Who desires coming to the aid of “Bitches and Ho’s?” With hip hop being 50 years old, at least 35 of those years (first-generation rappers created music to educate and stimulate the mind and body) have been dedicated to debasing black women, so no one would value us enough to protect us. Where was Smiley’s voice all those years ago?

Smiley warned about the dangers of black women living in an environment where racism is heightened since Donald Trump slid into his second term, which leads some to wonder: is this tactic a desperate attempt to lure black women into the Democratic Party that they lost in VP Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign bid? Is this supposed to scare us back in line with “voting blue, no matter who?”

Racism is just a pittance of what’s killing black women. No one kills black women and their children more than black men (to be fair, no one kills white women and their children more than white men, because crime is tribal. People feel comfortable violating people who look like them). But Smiley won’t touch that issue. It is an unspoken rule in the “Black Community” that we don’t criticize black men or hold them accountable (Smiley has spoken against Bill Cosby and R. Kelly, but I’ve heard no pushback on the state of hip hop, partly due to rappers accusing black protesters of “taking food out of the black man’s mouth).

In a climate where black people hate black women (black women hate black women, because black men hate black women), it is unfathomable to picture a black man being so concerned about the lives of black women when his voice remained silent on a topic that needs him to forcefully push back on its agenda—black men breaking black women down to rubbish.

I believe the agenda is political.

The female gender’s undying support is expected and shows up like trees and forests in a Hawthorne novel. They continue to set the bar so low for male decency that they’re able to see specks of integrity in its absent, imaginary compassion and thoughtfulness to fill voids, while fully aware of a dark past—a criminal background and violence towards women and children. Women are supportive of the weak, the broken, the ill-tempered, the mentally ill, the dangerous, the disloyal, as long as the reprobate is a man.

According to several media reports, including investigative news pieces and public records, Ohio Congressman Max Miller threw scalding hot water on his ex-wife, possibly abused his young daughter, pushed a young woman in high school with such force that she tumbled down the stairs, and other disturbances that align with 2026’s big reveal of scoundrels from the Epstein Files (a naked picture of his little girl on public display).

Miller is hitting the media circuit in hopes of clearing his name, which may be a mistake. In an attempt to save his reelection bid, he’s inadvertently showing his audience that Congress can survive without him. His rebuttals reveal a lack of political talent; he’s inarticulate (he has the audacity to question his daughter’s command of the English language) and unintelligent. Miller’s success simply appears to be another case of white mediocrity propelling a WASP into a prominent position.

Because he’s a man, possibly attractive to some, the most distressing part of the Miller story is not reports claiming that when the Trumps were informed of his alleged brutality, they seemed unbothered. It is the certainty that Miller will never be without a woman, or, dare we say, another victim. Just like the Menendez brothers who blew their parents’ heads off and didn’t marry until imprisoned; serial killer Ted Bundy exchanged vows in prison; the Night Stalker received hundreds of love letters from women while incarcerated, there are women waiting in line for Miller, too.

Nevada parents of a 3-year-old girl learn their fate after her father slammed her against a wall for wetting herself.

According to reports, authorities believe both parents, Ricky Beasley, 34, and Lakeia Walker, 35, played a role in the child’s death. Still, prosecutors say they only had evidence of Walker as an “accessory after the fact.”

Men are the predators at hand, and their sidekicks are usually the women they target, always helpful in the cover-up, eager to please, vying for approval. The hatred men have for women is a true enigma, because women always have their backs. It has been clear for decades that no matter what egregious acts they commit against the female gender, women just refuse to pull their support away from them.

In this case, an 11-year-old girl was the victim. According to reports, an Oklahoma mother was sentenced for failing to provide medical attention for her daughter after she gave birth to her father’s baby at home.

Cheri Walker, who is married to Dustin Walker, allegedly knew her husband was raping her young daughter and did not inform authorities.

Nolan Wells, a missing 19-year-old, was last seen on July 4th on Horn Island, according to reports.

As this story takes shape, alternative media analysts are zeroing in on a “Katie” who met Wells before he went missing. Ebony Magazine reported that Katie and her mother, Grace McCormick, have spoken to the authorities and Wells’ family to provide information on his final known hours.

Lawton Lane News wants to inform its audience that Katie is white, Nolan was black, and his friends who accompanied him on his holiday outing were all white and male.

Denial is a word that has been stretched too far to blanket misconduct, particularly among male public figures. The public has become acquainted with the polish-covered slime colloquialisms: “The senator has denied all accusations against him,” “This is just a witch hunt,” “She’s lying. This is a money grab,” “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

Over the years, this unconscious psychological defense mechanism has diluted into: “I’m no choirboy,” and “Looking back, I stepped over the line a few times…” Perhaps the latter is the closest the male gender will ever come to owning the pain they’ve caused women.

On July 6, Politico dropped an article alleging that Democratic Senator Candidate Graham Platner of Maine sexually assaulted a woman.

The alleged victim told the news outlet that Platner forced her to have sex with him nearly five years ago.

Of course, Platner has vehemently denied the accusation: “These allegations are troubling, serious, and false. Any accusation of nonconsensual behavior is categorically untrue.” However, multiple prominent democrats are withdrawing their endorsements, including Congressman Ro Khanna.

They’re extremely sneaky. Murky waters are best for them. Their patience is their greatest asset, as they cunningly stalk their prey. Their bulging, vertically split pupils sit high on their heads, allowing them to maintain their target in their gaze. The alligator is vicious. And, while these crepuscular creatures are not always in hunting mode, when they are, humans must stay away.

Unfortunately, a Florida woman found out how dangerous these reptiles are.

Brittany Clark, 31, was attacked by an alligator while swimming in the Econlockhatchee River on Sunday, June, 28th.

According to reports, Clark and her boyfriend, Chance Allison, went into the water for a swim to escape the heat, and that’s when the gator attacked her at 1:30 PM.

As the alligator held on to Clark’s arms, her boyfriend still attempted to retrieve them from the predator.

NBC obtained a copy of the chilling 9-1-1 call, and screams from her friends can be heard in the background. One woman shouts at the operator, “OK, both her arms, both her arms, both her arms are off, like, basically!”

Clark succumbed to her injuries before she and the rescue crew arrived at the hospital.

According to reports, a former Baton Rouge deputy is being held without bond after being indicted on a dozen child sex crime charges.

On Monday, June 15, Nicholas LoCircero was indicted in Livingston Parish on charges that included five counts of first-degree rape of a child under 13.

LoCicero’s murky past mirrors many who were given second chances when their employers should have denied their application after misconduct.

Reports claim LoCicero was rehired by the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office after he was terminated for “conduct unbecoming” (whatever that means).

How do they get these jobs?

Rep. Eric Swalwell, a husband, father, and politician, has abandoned his gubernatorial campaign and is resigning from Congress following allegations of sexual misconduct.

Swalwell is among many men in politics and entertainment who’ve forced me to pray my husband away.

Recently, Swalwell stated that his extramarital affairs are a private matter between him and his wife. However, I strongly disagree with this perspective.

When an alleged victim or a woman claiming an affair with a politician comes forward, the allegations become a matter of public concern, involving not just the politician and their spouse, but also the American people.

Both parties swiftly denounced Swalwell after the accusers came forward, which is expected protocol. Yet, one must ask: was this just political theater, or will real action be taken? Too often, others have escaped accountability.

If Swalwell’s fate is to retreat into a private club and a cache of booze, reportedly paid for by his abandoned gubernatorial campaign money, the future birthrate will be lower than the current one.

More women who are intentional about their identities and the men they allow into their lives may likewise feel compelled to pray their husbands away.
